Who are The markeds ?

Just to let you know who are the Markeds and who will get the "Save The 4400" DVD in their hands, here is a sample list from the 44 total ones :

We are family...

Well, many of you have already built the kit (burn the DVD & printed the covers) ! The new registrations will open soon (see below), and some fans have already asked to register because they can't wait ! That's a good news...

So, I was wondering : how to make 4400 fans personally involved in this operation ?

I mean, all of this is possible with fans support (actually coming from 52 countries) ! So, if you want, send a picture of yourself with your kit in hands and write a short text as introduction, then I will publish it here !

Shipping Registrations & Date

Good news : 4400 fans are registering every day to download the DVD ! Some of you asked how things will be organised for the shipping :

After you have downloaded, burnt and printed the cover of the DVD (this is what we call "building the kit"), you will have to register again (by the way, if you send me a picture of the kit you built, I will publish it !)

From 1st to 8th September 2008, I will open "new registrations" to ship the kits to the "markeds" (The markeds are influent and powerful people in USA in a list that has been built by the "Save the 4400 Dream Team" and many fans). This way, all new registered fans will receive a "marked" address by email to send the kit to...

The Worldwide Shipping Date : 09.09.08 (9th September 2008) !

By the way, if you have already downloaded the DVD and burnt it, please have a look to the DVD ROM content : you will find a lot of information about our movement since its beginning. You could use it to write a short letter to your "marked".

PS : I will be in holidays from 20th to 30th August, downloads are still available until next registrations for shipping...

First Press Kit Shipped !

That's done ! The very first "Save The 4400 : The Markeds" DVD Press Kit has been shipped to our "favourite" marked : Dave Kolpak, from Associated Press.

He was one of the very first journalists to give us attention and allowed our movement to have a big presence in various medias. He was very friendly and did a very good job. So, that's up to you again Dave ;-)

By the way, let me give you the steps to join our operation :

• First you have to register (see this news). It's absolutely free and your email adress won't be spread or used for something else !
• You will get the link (by email) where to download the DVD iso file.
• Now burn it (tutorial) and print its cover (all files you need are in the DVD or here).
• When ALL these steps are done, contact me to get your Marked adress where you will ship the DVD !
• Tell me (by email) WHEN you sent it and, if possible, give me a tracking number : so I will be able to blog the good news !

How to...

Dear friends and fans, I would like to share with you some information about the next step of our "Save The 4400 : The Markeds" operation.

Today, I just sent the link to all registered people to download the DVD. Here is how to burn it.

So, you have downloaded the ISO file, that means just a one and only single file that contains everything of the original DVD structure, just like an ZIP archive. You won't need to extract anything.

Here is how to do with NERO BURNING ROM (the most used) :

1. Insert a blank DVD in your DVD-RW drive.
2. Start Nero Burning.
3. Follow the wizard steps to select Data CD or DVD creation.
4. When the wizard closes, click Burn Image on the Recorder menu.
5. In the Open dialog box, select the ISO file, and then click Open.
6. In the wizard, click Burn to write the image to the DVD.

Most burning programs can easily burn ISO files. Check the help function (usually by pressing F1) of your software and search for the word ISO. You can use a DVD-RW and try it before burning it for real... If you have any question... Contact me !

The registrations for downloading and shipping the DVD are going very well and we are really close to get all the 44 volunteers (in just 4 days) ! I think we will begin the downloads very soon !

Registrations Opened !

Dear friends and fans, registrations to
download the DVD are officially opened !

Just send a mail, and you will get an answer with a link where to download the full DVD for free. Downloads should begin within next week !

After you downloaded the ISO file then burn it (Tutorials). You will find in the burned DVD (it also contains a DVD ROM part) a directory called "Press Kit". Here you will find many important things and the pictures you need to print the DVD cover.

We are very proud to introduce you the very first "Save The 4400 Press Kit" in our real world ! All material will be supplied here on 08.08.08 : so everybody will be able to build his own !

Please, remember that the main purpose of these kits is to be sent to the 44 "markeds", trying to make them understand that The 4400 really deserves a descent end and may be even more !
